How It Works

Whether it’s money, members or mothers’ needs, can help. Users can choose whether they want to:

1) Get needed funding

2) Support other women's funding needs

Most women are not familiar with crowdfunding as it relates to their individual circumstances. Fund Her Projects aims to take the mystery out of crowdfunding and make it simple, clear, and easy. Thus, signing up and starting a campaign is as easy as 1-2-3

  1. Pitch
  2. Launch
  3. Manage
  • Pitch – It is important to have your project’s pitch ready for potential donors. As a project creator, you want your pitch to clearly define your need(s) and what it will cost . Be HONEST.
  • Launch – Once you have defined your needs and associated costs, it’s time to share your project with the world. Post and promote your project using your unique link to your family, friends, co-workers, and more through email invitations, Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, and other social media platforms.
  • Manage – FHP makes it very easy to manage your project, making updates, checking donor levels and so forth.
For more detailed information on launching a successful campaign, read our Campaign Handbook for tips on what to do before, during and after your campaign.

Fund Her Projects allows you to also promote your personal and social causes. Here’s how:

Set up your cause profile by uploading an image and basic information. Add interesting facts about your cause including:

  • Who – Information about you and the background of your cause.
  • Why – Emphasizing why you’re so passionate about this cause and why your supporters should care, too. (Why did you chose this cause?)
  • What – Explaining what supporters can expect to receive along the way, be it updates or just a thank you email.
  • How – Put whether your cause can be shared or liked on different social media outlets.

Once you’re done filling out the above information, you’re ready to start promoting to those friends on FHP and on other social media (Facebook, etc).
